N1011 at the end of the assembly line ready for rollout. This was one of five
TriStars that were used in the L-1011 flight test and
certification program
N1011 in original roll out colors orange and white,
with Lockheed TriStar in black on the fwd fuselage and the L-1011
eagle logo (known as the "desert chicken").
The second paintsheme was orange and gold with Lockheed L-1011 on the forward
fuselage and "Advanced TriStar" on tail. This (last) paint scheme was used after the
extended wings (with active ailerons) were installed.

When N1011 was scrapped at Ardmore in 1986, the fuselage was purchased by Delta.
However, it spent several years at Florida's Disney-MGM Studios (on lease
from Delta) for filming purposes (including "Passenger 57").
